Hey! I'm Allison, and I'm 17. I have a twin brother, and two younger sisters. My mom is a writer, and my dad is a welder. I tend to get good grades in school, and I don't really disobey my parents much. I'm kind of a role model to my siblings.
My twin brother, Nick, is also 17. He was born 11 and a half minutes after me, and he's my total opposite. He listens to a lot of heavy metal music, and does drugs, but my parents don't know. I kind of swore not to tell them, and I don't want to, since then my friendship with Nick would be completely destroyed. I really get along with him, but I think his "habit" is kind of creating a distance between him and the rest of the family. I hate that he smokes pot, but, I don't see anything I can do. I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
My younger sister Brianna, is 13. She's really really annoying. She doesn't get that since Nick and I are older, we get different things. She seems to think that everything should be equal. Other than that, she's pretty cool. I take her to the mall, and things like that. Since my mom is more concentrated on writing than the family, I am more of a motherly figure. When she's my age, she'll be able to do more with mom, its just that, since she's younger, Mom has a hard time understanding what she goes through.
Speaking of my Mom, she's 37. She's awesome. I love that she's a writer, because I kind of got her creative side. We like to go to Starbucks, and shop and just general things like that. My mom is really down to earth, and she helps me write a lot of my English papers. I really enjoy having her as a mother. I wouldn't change it for the world.
My Dad on the other hand, is kind of abusive. He is always saying how Brianna is annoying and how he never wanted her. I mean, he's nice to me and Nick, since he "wanted" us, but it really bothers me the things he says to Brianna. He's crazy. But, he's a great dad. I mean, whenever we need anything, I know we can talk to him. He is always there to listen, or bail us out. He really gets what we're going through, since on the inside he's still a kid. I know he loves us, he just doesn't always know how to express it.
We recently adopted my little sister, Nellie. She's only 6 months old, and she is just the cutest thing. I love to babysit her, although Brianna usually snaps up most of the work, in order to get money. Even though she's not technically related to mom, I can tell she's going to be just like her, since she just loves when people read to her. I think she's going to be a really great person.
